Terrace Peaks Gymnastics Club is offering Pre-Team and Kickstart competitive trial programs during our Spring Session. These classes are open to children born in 2012/2013. Continue reading for more information.

With an understanding of our basic philosophy, TPGC Competitive Team Program will always be dedicated to producing excellent caliber gymnasts. This does not mean, however, that every child earning a place on our competitive team must have a burning desire to someday be an Olympian! The staff at TPGC will treat each athlete’s goals and aspirations individually. Some kids haven’t any desire to train at an elite pace, nor should they have to in order to be a valued member of our competitive team. This is not to say that the staff at TPGC will accept mediocrity in training. We will always run a structured, disciplined program, as it is our belief that gymnastics is far too dangerous and costly to have training be considered just an opportunity for socializing. Our staff will demand respect and a strong work ethic from each and every athlete. We will enforce proper respect, attitudes, and manners at all times. This should be something that our parents are aware of prior to committing to the program. If the idea of enforcing or demanding proper behavior is an issue, then TPGC is more than likely not the place  for your child. Conversely, athletes will be treated with respect and provided positive guidance in order to help them reach their goals.

Since there are limited number of spaces in each of these groups for the 2019-2020 Season, we are running trial classes during the Spring Session, instead of inviting this age group to the May tryouts. The goals is to provide both athletes and parents information about these programs training structure and the expectation for all parties involved. This opportunity is for athletes that have the desire and ability for a more challenging gymnastics experience. 

To get a better understanding of how the competitive programs runs, we asked that each participant commit to the entire session.

Pre-Team Trial Session | April 1-June 19, 2019 (Girls Only)

Participants may choose to register in either one or both days (2012 birth year only). There is a 10% discount for enrolling in both days.

Monday         3:30-6:30pm   $300 (10 weeks – no classes April 22 or May 20)
Wednesday   3:30-6:30pm   $360 (12 weeks)

Kickstart Trial Session | May 6-June 17 (Boys Only)

Monday         3:30-6:30pm   $180 (6 Weeks – No classes May 20)
