The Riverboat Days Parade is Saturday, August 1, 2026! We are excited to be joining the parade again, and we hope that you will join us!
Who: Any and all TPGC members (parents will need to participate with any athlete 8 years old or younger).
When: Saturday, August 1. Meet at 10:30 am; parade starts at 11:00 am.
What: We will have a truck for athletes to walk behind. Athletes can take breaks sitting on the truck if needed.
Please wear your TPGC team suit if you have one or a blue top, black shorts or pants, and runners (no sandals). If you want to do cartwheels or handstands, please wear gloves to protect your hands. Don’t forget to bring water and sunscreen. Please check the forecast and make sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing.
Where: The parade starts at City Hall on Lakelse Avenue and proceeds east to the Legion (see attachment). We will be meeting somewhere along Park Avenue. Parade officials will give us the exact location on the day of the parade. Please ask a parade volunteer for the Terrace Peaks meeting location, or check our Facebook page, where we will update our location. Please pick up on Aspley Street near the Legion at the end of the parade around 12:00 pm.
