Terrace Peaks is excited to announce that our club has been chosen as a partner for the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program!

Construction on our expansion is almost complete and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the Canada 150 grant! The expansion provides us with new bathrooms, change rooms and office. The application process was very competitive so it is a great honour to have been chosen.

The Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program is part of the celebration of Canada’s 150th year of Confederation in 2017. Through investments in community infrastructure, the Government of Canada will invest in projects that seek to renovate, expand and improve existing community infrastructure, with a focus on recreational facilities, projects that advance a clean growth economy, and projects with a positive impact on Indigenous communities.

This would not have been possible without the support of the community, our members, and our wonderful Board of Directors; especially Barclay Macdonald, who was in charge of the application process! We would also like to thank Dan Aird of Draw Construction for heading the construction process and making our expansion a reality.

We are very excited to be part of this event and cannot wait to have the expansion completed for everyone to enjoy.
